Thanh Nguyen is a seasoned food industry executive with over two decades of global leadership experience in Food Safety, Quality, and Innovation. He currently serves as the Global Food Safety & Quality Officer at Kerry Group, a role he has held for the past 1.5 years. Thanh brings a strategic vision and a deep commitment to excellence in food safety and quality standards across Kerry’s global operations.
Prior to his current position, Thanh was the Chief Operating Officer for Kerry APMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa) for 2 years, where he led operational performance and growth initiatives across diverse markets. He also held the role of APMEA Vice President for Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) at Kerry, driving transformative improvements in compliance and safety culture.
Before joining Kerry, Thanh spent 7 years at Keystone Foods, where he led Food Safety, Quality, and Innovation for the APMEA region. His leadership was instrumental in enhancing product integrity and fostering customer trust across a wide portfolio of clients and markets. Earlier in his career, Thanh held various global and regional roles in Food Safety and Quality at Wrigley/Mars, where he developed deep expertise in global quality systems and cross-cultural team leadership. He began his career in Canada with Campbell Soup, laying a strong technical foundation in food manufacturing and safety. A Canadian national, Thanh resides in Bangkok and is known for his collaborative leadership style, operational expertise, and passion for building high-performing teams that deliver on Kerry’s Vision “To be our customers’ most valued partner creating a world of sustainable nutrition”.
Jorge is Vice President of Quality Assurance at The Wendy’s Company, responsible for Food Safety, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Compliance Programs that affect suppliers, distribution centers, and approximately 7,300 restaurants across 34 countries.
With over four decades of experience in quality assurance, Jorge has held various roles focusing on regulatory compliance, food safety, and training development, progressively advancing into leadership positions. Before assuming his current role, he served as the Chief Food Safety Officer at Wholesome International, a restaurant company in the U.S. fast casual dining sector. There, he played a key role in expanding a single proof-of-concept restaurant into a chain of six and establishing a processing facility for the brand. Prior to his tenure at Wholesome, Jorge was the Senior Vice President of Food Safety and Quality Assurance at US FOODS, the second-largest distributor in the U.S., a $23 billion organization with over 95 distribution centers and 14 food processing facilities, along with a $5 billion private label brand portfolio responsible for ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
Additionally, he has held various leadership roles in Training Development and has experience as a regulator for state and county public health agencies in the United States.
Loan Ngô is the Vice President of Quality for Adhesive Technologies at Henkel Americas, a role she assumed in 2025. She leads quality operations across 33 manufacturing sites, 1,800 suppliers, and a team of 430+ professionals. As a member of Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies Americas Leadership Team, and Global Quality & Product Compliance Leadership Team, Loan drives the quality transformation for the Americas region, serving customers in Packaging & Consumer Goods, Mobility & Electronics, and Construction & Professional markets.
Her leadership focuses on operational excellence, innovation, digitalization, and sustainability. Prior to joining Henkel in 2023, Loan held diverse technical and management roles across aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical devices, and chemical industries, including division-level leadership.
Loan holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Financial Management, Strategic Analytics, and an Executive MBA. She actively supports leadership development and serves on nonprofit boards. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband and son.
Dr. Yanyan Huang is the Global Vice President of Quality and Food Safety at ADM, where she leads the company’s global QFS organization and drives strategy, systems, and culture to ensure excellence across ADM’s diverse portfolio—from agricultural commodities and animal nutrition to human food and health & wellness products.
With over 20 years of experience in the food industry, Dr. Huang began her career at ConAgra Foods, managing research in key food safety areas. At Danone, she led a team of scientists specializing in food safety risk assessment for toxicology, microbiology, and allergen management.
Since joining ADM in 2020, Dr. Huang has strengthened global quality systems and implemented end-to-end risk management strategies across the supply chain. She is a passionate advocate for shared accountability, firmly believing that “everyone owns quality and food safety”—and that it is the QFS professional’s role to lead and inspire that commitment.
Adora Johnson is Vice President of Quality & Regulatory Compliance at Dollar Tree, Inc., where she leads the establishment and oversight of a pioneering compliance division serving over 9,000 retail locations. She is recognized as the organization’s chief subject matter expert across a diverse range of regulated products, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, dietary supplements, children’s products, household chemicals, and other consumer goods.
With extensive expertise in FDA compliance and global quality benchmarks, Adora has engineered and executed nationwide regulatory strategies that streamline market entry, enhance post-market performance, and foster continuous improvement in program, risk, and vendor management. She has successfully led remediation efforts in response to federal enforcement actions, including DOJ and FDA matters, and serves as principal liaison for all interactions with regulatory bodies.
A visionary leader committed to consumer safety, corporate ethics, and sustainability, Adora has driven award-winning initiatives that advanced environmental stewardship, improved company culture ratings, and strengthened trust with underserved communities.
Maria brings over twenty years of experience in empowering teams to lead transformative change and deliver sustainable performance. With a career that spans from supplier quality assurance to factory, regional, and global corporate leadership, she offers a comprehensive, end-to-end understanding of supply chain quality management on a global scale. Currently serving as the Global Quality and Food Safety (Q&FS) Integration Lead for Mars Snacking, Maria champions complex integrations with foresight - mitigating risks, harmonizing quality management to unlock value, and embedding digital capabilities to power the future.
In her previous role as Senior Director of Corporate Quality Governance, Maria transformed the Mars Quality Management System into a fit-for-purpose, digital, and agile framework. This transformation strengthened compliance, reduced risk, and built future capabilities that empowered diverse business areas, including Food and Nutrition, Snacking, and Pet Care, to deliver optimal value, enhanced services, better products, and better care for pets.
Maria holds a bachelor's degree in Food Engineering from Las Americas University and a master's degree in Biological Systems Engineering from Washington State University. Originally from Mexico, she is passionate about igniting others potential through mentorship, embracing a mindset of possibility and pioneering innovative strategies and digital solutions to build a sustainable future and ensure safe food for all.
With over 28 years of international experience, Hugo is a recognized leader in Quality, Regulatory, Environment, Health, and Safety cross the consumer goods industry. As Vice President of Global Quality Assurance at Clorox, he spearheads strategic advancements in global production standards and organizational capability.
Based in Alpharetta, Georgia, Hugo leads with a passion for operational excellence and people development. He’s fluent in four languages, has influenced quality systems in over 60 countries, and has helped shape industry benchmarks through GFSI and partnerships with global brands like Hershey and Haagen Dazs.
His leadership during the COVID crisis protected over 170 manufacturing facilities worldwide, and his innovative food safety strategies provide business continuity, ensuring that superior quality isn’t just a goal, it’s a movement.
Hugo has occupied executive leadership roles at, General Mills, Kerry an now Clorox as well as diverse roles in Pfizer and Cadbury. Beyond the corporate realm, Hugo mentors future leaders, volunteers in underserved communities, and channels his entrepreneurial spirit to give back—most notably through his philanthropic work in Colombia and executive sponsorship of Hispanic business.
Hugo's educational journey spans multiple institutions and global leadership programs, including an MBA in Top Global Management from Universidad ICESI, executive training with Hershey, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Javeriana University, and advanced leadership development with Kerry.
Gregg Albus brings a distinguished career of over 30 years in the pet food and animal health industries spanning Quality, Operations, Finance, and Contract Manufacturing for companies including Hill's, Nestle, Mars, Del Monte and Perrigo. Currently, as the Vice President of Global Quality and Food Safety at Hills Pet Nutrition, a division of Colgate-Palmolive, he leads the global Quality organization, focusing on quality excellence, cross-functional collaboration, compliance, food safety, and continuous improvement. Gregg has a proven record of leading quality and operational transformations and delivering significant results across a diverse range of functions, from Quality and Operations to Finance and M&A integration. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Lehigh University, a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Moravian College and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University.
Allison is the Senior Director of Global External Quality at Mondelez, where she oversees the company’s global quality strategy and governance across the external supply chain, including suppliers, external manufacturers, distribution, mergers and acquisitions, and consumer quality. Her experience spans the end-to-end business, with previous Quality and Food Safety roles at The Hain Celestial Group, Pepperidge Farm, and Mars. Allison’s academic background includes a Food Science degree from Cornell University and a Master’s in Food Safety from Michigan State University.
